Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME) -- $200

​

The goal and purpose of IME are to create a more confident student in preparation for the BRC. If you already know how to shift a motorcycle, then please do not take this class.

Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IME)

What you need to know:

  • A 2-hr session that introduces you to the concept of shifting a motorcycle in a private 1:1 setting

  • ​The IME is scheduled separately from the BRC and is conducted on a separate day, prior to your scheduled BRC

  • The IME is offered in Brockton & Plympton

Topics Covered:

  • Locate and operate controls

  • Coordinate throttle and clutch

  • Straight-line riding

  • Introduction to making turns

  • Introduction to shifting

  • Introduction to braking

  • How to operate the shift and throttle is also covered in the first few exercises of the Basic Rider Course (BRC).
